During your first appointment with Kawartha Menopause Clinic, our Nurse Practitioner will conduct a comprehensive assessment of your health needs, symptoms and medical history. With this information, a complete treatment plan will be constructed that is tailored to you.

After your initial consultation, we recommend a follow-up appointment 3 months later to reassess the effectiveness of your treatment plan. This follow-up allows us to make any necessary adjustments and ensure that you are progressing as expected. Following this 3-month reassessment, we advise scheduling annual follow-up appointments to continue monitoring your health and treatment outcomes. If you are beginning hormone therapy, we will book an annual appointment to reassess your dosing, review symptoms, and determine the need for continuation. This structured follow-up schedule helps us provide personalized care and maintain optimal treatment effectiveness.
